I love it when we get young men that get the “senior photo thing” and when people say it is one of the fastest times in your life. You should take time and have some custom senior photos done and not just a “senior snap shot for the year book” so you will look back at these forever as to who you were and remember that…

What another great week! I am so glad to be photographing High School Seniors. Every one of them this year has been so much fun! It makes it so fun to come to the studio every day!

We have received a lot of questions lately about studio photographers so I thought I would try and answer some of those  common questions. Here are ones I get about light all the time:

Do we shoot outside also??

Yes, studio photographers shoot outside! We love to get out on a nice day as much as you do.

Do we prefer natural light??

We think natural give us the best light possible.

But whether it is in studio or on location, photography is about controlling the light. It is what makes a professional a pro and not an amateur.

I guess these questions come from people reading on some photographers websites that they, “prefer natural light”. That doesn’t mean they are not a pro, or even a great photographer,  it could mean only that they don’t have a studio to work out of. Sometimes it means they don’t know how to control light, so watch out!

Long Board

Cody brought his long board to his High School Senior session so of course we love that. Your own props make for great images and they help freeze moment in time. And years from now you look back at who you are and what your were into. Thanks Cody you are awesome!!

What does that mean for all of our clients? Well, that means you have the two most creative and award-winning photographers in the area working together! We will be able to service all of our clients better with two lead photographers we will have double the booking time. Now we can have two PRO photographers for every time slot!

Michelle’s main area will be lead photographer for all weddings (her specialty) but here in this post you can see some of her work on a high school senior.
